Compact Disc (CD) + Digital Album
Toxikk Deception stands as the artistic vision of Violet Mallory. The project has now gone solo, and is in full drive. In the span of 8 years, Toxikk Deception has immensely broadened his creativity, with every album having its own sound. The dark atmosphere of Toxikk Deception has grown even more gloomy and sinister. The newest album, Lucid Visions, proves this statement true. At the beginning of the new album we find Toxikk Deception exploring the slower, darker, more depressing and brooding philosophical themes. "Miserable", a track about chronic Bi-Polar Depression, leads to "The Past Haunts Me", a track about PTSD. "Genocide Letter" is the 5th track on Lucid Visions, featuring Toxikk Deception at its most aggressive. Lucid Visions is an album exploring past the roots of Toxikk Deception, as Violet Mallory both returns to his twisted Goth Industrial roots as well as pushing the creativity further than ever before.
This album explores elements of Goth, Witch House, Metal, Aggrotech, Orchestral and Goa-trance. This album isnt only one genre; its a combination of different genres. Both clean vocals and dirty vocals are used. You will hear hints of everything in here. The main topic of this album is Pain and Suffering. You could say, in a nutshell, that Lucid Visions is Toxikk Deception's darkest album to date.

While these are good remixes, they are ironically stripped down to usual EBM trappings. It lacks a LOT of wild experimentation with arrangements, bombastic use of high dynamic range capabilities and Mariana trench's deep use of sequencers which made Front 242 a Sistine Chapel of the genre.
Nevertheless, it's an enjoyable EBM Fix ►For You◀
I do appreciate visceral energy on certain songs which added another layer to the originals.
Now i wait for FLA's Caustic Grip/TNI tribute like a guard dog. Symbolic ‡ Tentacles
